Woodsy Romantic Loloma Lodge Wedding
Mellisa and John tied the knot next to the McKenzie River underneath the sweeping pines at the one-of-a-kind Loloma Lodge last September. Mellisa & John hired us for full-service planning and we loved getting to work with them from beginning to end to bring all of the details together for their beautiful day. From sweet butterfly details to honor Mellisa’s grandmother to a custom burgundy Armani suit for the groom and an authentic Mexican taco truck for dinner… it was a day to remember!
Enjoy the beautiful images from Alex Elise Photo and read on for more details about this special day.

Whenever my couples are looking for custom invitation suite design, I always send them to McKenna at Life in Letters. There are no bounds to her creativity and ability to bring a client’s vision to life. Plus, having custom signage to match the invitations perfectly is always a huge bonus. The leaf design seen here on these vellum invites made its way onto some of the reception signage.

The pops of burgundy in the bouquets from Passionflower Design paired perfectly with the bridesmaids’ dress color.

Mellisa and John’s son, Johnny, was the most adorable “ring security” ever!

The hard part’s over… time to go eat tacos and party!

I love the way we set the reception for this wedding! We’ve done several weddings at Loloma over the years but this was our first time doing a U-shape with the farm tables, and it turned out fantastic. Perfect for a wedding of this size!

Mellisa and John hand-poured all of these candle favors for their guests. Such a thoughtful (and wonderfully smelling) takeaway!

There were a handful of white butterfly details throughout the wedding to honor Mellisa’s late grandmother. These butterflies had become a symbol of her grandmother’s presence. Did you catch the bride’s shoes from the first two photos? Yup, white butterflies. <3

Here is what Mellisa had to say about her experience working with us:
“Becky literally made our wedding dreams come true. I had very little idea of what I wanted but a few things that I wanted put here and there. She helped me make a vision a reality. She made the process go by very smoothly and had a plan for every moment. Even when me and John didn’t agree on every little thing she helped us find a happy medium. I couldn’t have picked someone better to help us plan our special day. And all of her recommendations for vendors were perfect. Thank you for everything you did for us Becky, I can’t thank you enough.”
Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Pastore for trusting us with your day! It was an honor and we loved every minute!
