Hey friends, I wanted to give a quick little life update — and also to thank you for being here and sticking around through all of life’s ups and downs. Can we all agree that life is so unpredictable, and that you never know what struggles someone may be facing? Let this be a reminder to you that the stranger on the street who won’t make eye contact or that person who cut you off on the freeway or that blogger on Instagram who seems like she has it all together— there’s a good chance these people are hurting and dealing with struggles you know nothing about. All of that to say, we all go through pain and loss and loneliness at some point. To put it super plainly, I have had two pregnancy losses over the last handful of months with the most recent one being pretty significant at 12 weeks. 💔 It has been a rough time for my family but we are making it through thanks to our wonderful support system and faith in Jesus. 🙏🏻 I won’t go in to any more detail here but I have been pretty open about it on my personal account @thehartstory if you care to know more. The last week has been crazy to say the least, but I am getting back in to the swing of things this week and am ready to get caught up. Again, thank you for being here and supporting our family biz. We are officially all moved in to the warehouse and (mostly) organized! 🙌🏼 Peace out storage unit life... see you never. 😆 We still have work to do on the office, still need signage, and plenty of fine-tuning and tweaking to be done. I’m not 100% sure when we’ll officially be “open” for appointments but my best guess is maybe 3 weeks from now? We are also hoping to have some sort of open house event where people can swing by and take a peek! I’m guessing that won’t happen until after the craziness of the holidays, though — maybe January. There were many amazing cakes from this summer’s weddings but this @sweetlifepatisserie cake with floral by @freckledfleurs is in my top three for sure. And that’s after it traveled 4.5 hours from Eugene!👌🏻 📷: @alexelisephoto
