Return clients aren’t all that common in the wedding industry (for good reason!) but it’s so fun whenever I get to work with a client for another event!

Jinous hired me to help plan her anniversary celebration on the coast back in 2021, and it was such a treat when her sister in law reached out to me to help plan Jinous’ baby shower! 🥰

These days I wake up and start working somewhere between 4:30 -5:30 am 5 mornings out of the week. I’ve become a lot more accustomed to it over time but some days I would love to be able to crawl back into bed. 😂🙈

However, it’s really not so bad! I work for 2-3 hours, then we homeschool our kids for a couple hours, have lunch, and then I usually come back and do another hour or two of work in the afternoon. Totally not your normal 8 hour workday but it works for us. 😜

What about you? Are you an early riser or not so much?

There’s something about fresh spun cotton candy that just makes you smile! ☺️

I haven’t done an intro in a hot minute, so if you’re new here, here’s a bit about the gal behind Event Crush 💖

1️⃣ me and my husband both work from home (Andrew runs a bookkeeping business @hartsystemsbookkeeping) and we homeschool our two girls together. I’m so thankful for our flexible lifestyle!
2️⃣ I love gardening and our little backyard flock of chickens 🐓🌸
3️⃣ I haven’t had a sip of soda since March 2022! I spent the majority of my life fighting a soda addiction — literally since 6th grade. So kicking this habit has been huge for me 🙌🏻
4️⃣ I finally launched @sugarcrusheugene at the end of last year after dreaming about it since 2018 👊🏻
5️⃣ at the end of December I started taking regular walks around my neighborhood and it has been so good for my mental and physical health! 👣

I would love to learn something about you, too! What’s your fave beverage? Since giving up soda I have become a huge fan of kombucha!
