Intimate Mount Tabor Summit Wedding

Not all couples get to celebrate their union twice — but Laura and Connor are not all couples! Their first intimate celebration was in July of 2024 in Portland, Oregon at Mount Tabor Summit and Bellwether Bar.  The second celebration was a larger party for all of their family and friends in July of 2025 at Ford Alumni Center in Eugene (that blog will be coming soon!)

For Laura and Connor, having their tight-knit celebration just steps from their own home was so super meaningful to them. Mount Tabor Summit is a place where these two take daily walks as it’s right above their home.  After the ceremony, the couple invited their guests for a reception at their favorite neighborhood bar, Bellwether Bar in Portland. This charming bar holds so much meaning for Laura and Connor and it was so special for them to be able to host their loved ones there. We love a non-traditional reception space, and this back patio was about as cute as they come! They celebrated with dinner, toasts, and dessert.

For their first celebration, they kept the theme more neutral and classic. The florals featured romantic, textured bouquets with a variety of white flowers and greenery. The bridesmaids wore beautiful dark green dresses, perfect for the Pacific Northwest landscape. Connor wore a tux, but with the fun twist of a dark green jacket while his groomsmen donned classic black tuxes. Even with a smaller guest count, the design and details of their reception were still really important! The neutral color scheme carried throughout with elevated linens and beautiful stationery. They had a small cutting cake for photos and enjoyed a slice at the same table which was such a cute moment!
