Mimosas & Matrimony: Eugene’s Boutique Wedding Showcase

I can’t believe we are coming up on the third annual Mimosas & Matrimony wedding showcase at Sweet Cheeks Winery! The first year we hosted this event was in 2023. Since the next event is coming up so quickly — on April 13th! — I wanted to share some photos and details from the 2023 and 2024 events.

Mimosas & Matrimony originally came to fruition after meeting with Norah of Sweet Cheeks Winery at my rental warehouse/showroom in Eugene back in late 2022. This was shortly after the Oregon Wedding Showcase had disbanded. We both knew that Eugene needed a new wedding showcase — but we weren’t wanting to do the same ‘ol, same ‘ol.

Our vision was for a boutique showcase with hand-picked vendors on the Sweet Cheeks Winery patio, with sweeping views of the valley. Attendees would be mimosa-in-hand while chatting it up with the best wedding vendors in the area. All while enjoying live music, tasting catering and dessert samples, entering fabulous raffles and so much more.

Mimosas & Matrimony isn’t your typical wedding show. It’s a carefully curated experience designed to spark inspiration, help you envision your dream day, and connect you with the best local vendors who can bring it all to life. It’s a chance to gather fresh ideas for every part of your celebration, whether you’re just starting to plan or finalizing the details — this is the event for you!
