Masquerade Meets Woodland Bat Mitzvah at Long Table Farm

Leila’s fall bat mitzvah was a gorgeous, fun-filled celebration this past October. Because it was so close to Halloween, the family decided to incorporate a masquerade twist into the design, which I was 100% on board for. Each guest was able to choose a fanciful masquerade mask upon entry– there were female options with a handle to hold, and a male option with ties to wear. Leila also loves all things woodland, so we incorporated some fun elements to tie in this theme as well including plenty of wood rounds and moss, ferns, and some fun mushroom decor.

One of the best parts of the celebration was all of the delicious food and drink elements incorporated into the evening. There was a huge appetizer spread for cocktail hour from Carte Blanche Catering, wood-fired pizza from Long Table Farm, an assortment of pies for dessert from Soft Peaks Cakery, a hot chocolate bar, delicious cocktails from the Tipsy Mule, and even fresh-pressed apple cider! Let’s just say these guests did NOT go home hungry (or thirsty)!

The changing leaves of these grape vines were the perfect welcoming into the event space at Long Table Farm.
McKenna with Life in Letters provided all of the custom signage for the event, in black and gold to tie in the masquerade theme.
Aren’t these masks stunning? We purchased them from Dazzling Dirl DIY Shop on Etsy!
DelJean with Flowers and Thyme created the most beautiful, colorful, fall-inspired table centerpieces. They paired perfectly with the mismatched colored goblets.
The spread that Carte Blanche Catering put together was beautiful as always, and so tasty!
These “asparagus cigars” were my favorite! Definitely going to need to have these at another event…
We ordered an assortment of pies in various sizes and seasonal flavors from Soft Peaks Cakery which made for a fun spread! I always go to Shelly for all of my pie needs, hers are not only beautiful but delicious as well.
The Tipsy Mule provided cocktails as well as local beer and wine for all of the grown-ups, while the kids had fresh-pressed apple cider and the hot cocoa bar to enjoy.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without a photo booth!

Thank you Leila and family for letting us be a part of your celebration — it was such a blast!
