Jewel Toned Fall Wedding at the Ashland Springs Hotel
Tessa and Dante’s jewel toned fall wedding reflected their careers as musicians and highlighted their unique personalities. These two are so much fun and you can tell how much they love each other and their guests just through their photos! Tessa and Dante met out on the road when they were touring – a true musician’s love story! They decided to get married in Tessa’s hometown of Ashland, Oregon which made the whole weekend even more special and personal. Their goal for the wedding was to create a memorable event to bring all of their loved ones together.
Details included jewel toned florals and bridesmaid dresses, perfect for an October wedding. The couple also requested a black tie dress code “because how often do you get to really dress up as a grown up?” We couldn’t agree more, and their guests clearly understood the assignment! Being musicians, it is no surprise that there were some incredible musical moments as well. Also, can we just note how obsessed we are with the white microphone they used?! Such a fun detail, perfect for a wedding.
Read on to see Tessa’s THREE gorgeous wedding dresses, and all of the fun details these two incorporated. You can also see more of this wedding featured on Green Wedding Shoes!

Tessa’s wedding dress shopping is quite the story. Tessa went to six gown shops before finally finding a ceremony dress she fell in love with, and ordered on the spot. But when the dress arrived, it had a completely different bust and neckline than the one she had tried on! Communication issues led Tessa to believe that they weren’t able to fix the dress, so she started looking elsewhere as it was getting so close to the wedding. She ended up finding a beautiful gown right off the hangar at Lovely Bride. Then, one week before the wedding, the original Lian Rockman dress arrived, bringing her total to three stunning gowns.

We love how Tessa and Dante’s ceremony was set up up with guests sitting on both sides of the arbor area. This unique setup made for a fun guest view and ample photo opportunities with a 360 view.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds led their guests in a parade through the small town, complete with a “just married” banner, ribbon wands, and bubbles. The parade ended at Lithia Park for truly unique photo opportunities with gorgeous fall foliage as the backdrop.

Who wouldn’t want to stop for a quick bit of ice cream before heading to the reception!?

After the parade, guests were welcomed into an elegant reception to enjoy dinner, cake, and of course the opportunity to dance the night away (which they certainly did!)

Another fun detail: the classic cake was actually made by Tessa’s mom!

Tessa said that her favorite memory from the wedding was square dancing with friends and family. Many of the guests were a bit nervous at first because they hadn’t square danced before, but everyone ended up having a blast and still talk about it to this day!
Cheers to the happy couple!
