Flower-Filled Paradise Springs Wedding
It’s my first post on my new website and I am pumped,
Isla and Erik were living in San Diego when they got engaged in
Anywho, I was able to put together a pretty fabulous team of creatives for their wedding day which is always a highlight!! Stevi Sayler captured all of the details perfectly, the food from Party Downtown was phenomenal, gorgeous flowers from Good Seed Floral adorned every corner, and Zach with Apogee Events kept the dance floor going all night. Scroll to the bottom for the full vendor credits and to read the review that Isla gave me after our experience together. Enjoy the beautiful images!
Isla & Erik’s wedding was also featured in the latest print issue of Oregon Bride Magazine, so be sure to catch it in there, too.

The couple shared their biggest pieces of advice for brides and grooms currently planning their weddings:
Isla: “Hire Becky! And make lots of spreadsheets to keep yourself organized. And try to get your vendors sorted out far in advance.”
Erik: “Do a little bit of planning each day. Also, make sure to check and double check everything with vendors!”

I asked Isla and Erik what their favorite moment of their wedding day was:
Isla: “Erik came back to say hi right before the ceremony, and it was just what I needed! It was really nice getting to check in and have a moment in private right before going out and saying our vows in front of a giant crowd of people.”
Erik: “Definitely the ceremony itself. Especially when everyone was walking down the aisle, which was a really nice build-up. Isla looked beautiful, and the flower girl was so perfect and adorable! It was great to see everyone assembled there for us.”
Here’s what sweet Isla had to say about her experience working with me:
Becky is so amazing! We did the partial planning package, with the addition of the design package.
For the design package, she made us a beautiful design proposal that we could customize and change as much as we wanted until it was perfect. She then dealt with sourcing everything, making all the rental contracts, and day off she of course got everything set up! It was all gorgeous, and we got tons of compliments from our guests on how great everything looked!
For the partial planning package, we got a bunch of meetings with Becky as well as access to many of her resources, like an online planning website with checklists and her preferred vendor list, day of coordination (which is more like month of coordination!), some discount codes, and a few other things. We didn’t end up using all our meetings with her (it wasn’t needed), but I did email her A LOT, and she was always super helpful! It was really great to have a professional to check in with to see if we were on track, get answers to etiquette questions, and recommend vendors.
For the day of the wedding (and the time leading up to it!) Becky was indispensable. She made our timeline, coordinated all the vendors, set everything up, made our beautiful chalkboard signs herself, and so much more! All we had to do was show up! Becky made our entire wedding experience stress-free. Normally I am a very stressed out person, but I had almost zero wedding stress (and no wedding nightmares!). Becky was truly worth every penny! I highly recommend her!
