Fairytale 4th of July Wedding
“Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale…”
Every little girl dreams of being a princess when she grows up… and Taylor got to live out that dream on her wedding day when she married her prince, Tyler. From her elegant ballgown to her replicated Princess Diana tiara, you would have thought she came straight out of a Disney princess movie.
The wedding took place at the bride’s mom’s beautiful vineyard property right here in Springfield, and was filled with many unique details including custom built french doors for the bride to walk through, a Native American ceremony to honor the bride’s heritage, and even fireworks to end the night. It’s not that often that I get to work with families more than once, but just a couple years prior to this I helped plan the wedding of Taylor’s step-brother and sister-in-law!
Read on for more details of the day and enjoy the gorgeous images by Victoria Carlson Photography (and just wait until you see their seven-tiered wedding cake!)
Are these not the cutest flower girls ever!?
The bride and groom had a polaroid photo booth set up for guests to take a photo and leave it in their guest book. This is always a huge hit at weddings!
Another crowd favorite… a candy bar in your wedding colors with goody bags for guests to take home.
Also, get a load of their seven-tiered cake by Sky Cakes!
Taylor’s mom had custom designed newspaper wedding programs/favors made… such a fun keepsake for guests to take with them!
Taylor and her dad + stepfather had the most epic father/daughter dance EVER… it was choreographed to multiple songs and had everyone laughing and hollering throughout it! Such a fun surprise for their guests.
At the end of the evening, Taylor and Tylor participated in a Native American “Blanket Ceremony” and then headed through the rows of sparklers. It was a beautiful way to end the night!
Taylor and Tyler were so wonderful to work with, and the bride even left me this sweet review… thank you guys again for everything! <3
“Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without Becky. She managed all of the logistics on the day of and helped keep all of the stress away. Her motto was, “Keep Calm and let Becky Handle it”. That phrase couldn’t have been more true. She kept everyone on schedule. I’m so glad that we had a wedding day coordinator. My mom was able to relax and enjoy the day without having to worry about keeping the party going.
Becky was also super helpful during the planning process. I felt comfortable to ask her any kinds of questions. She always had great recommendations. I highly recommend her for your wedding planning or any other party planning. She’s the best!”
