Oregon Destination Wedding at the Range at Fall Creek

Kana and Devin were all about the guest experience for their Oregon Destination Wedding at the Range at Fall Creek. The couple was living in San Francisco at the time of their engagement, but Kana grew up in Eugene. Her parents still live here, so they decided to get married here in the beautiful Willamette Valley — they were excited to show their guests this part of the state! They chose the Range at Fall Creek as the perfect backdrop for their day (which has sadly since closed). They loved its sweeping views of the valley, overnight accommodations for the couple, and the true Oregon experience. Just before their wedding weekend, the Fall Creek Fire broke out and threatened a change of venues. We immediately began looking into back up options, but thankfully all ended up being just fine!
 
The vibe for their wedding was “colorful cocktail attire”. They requested that their guests wear “anything but a black suit.” They wanted to show their guests the beauty of Oregon, as many were coming up from the Bay Area and Devin’s family was coming from Canada. Guests arrived to the wedding via school bus. It was quite a site seeing them step off the busses in their gorgeous colorful attire!

Bright pops of color in the florals added to the stunning landscape without distracting from the beauty of Oregon that was so important to the couple.

These sweet flower girls really stole the show!

Stationery and signage kept with the colorful cocktail theme. We love the unique fonts and colors that represent their personalities and vibe for their wedding!

Kana hand-dyed all of the beautiful table runners for their reception tables!

The family style dinner from Mishjack’s Catering was absolutely fantastic — just as beautiful as it was delicious.

One of the highlights of the the day was Kana and Devin’s choreographed first dance! Kana came out in an incredible magenta dress and it was such a blast to see. Guests were dancing all night, the shuttle busses end up staying until 1:00 am because no one wanted to go back to their hotel!

Our wedding was such a beautiful event and very personal to us. We had even more fun than we expected. The tables were set beautifully and we loved the glow from the zig-zagged lights up above, colorful glasses and the fading sunset. We loved our venue and were so happy to wake up to such a beautiful view.
