Bright & Colorful Private Estate Wedding in Coburg, Oregon

Where do I start!? Not only are Arelia & Austin (and their families) the most wonderfully kind people, planning and designing their special day and bringing Arelia’s fun, colorful vision to life at her childhood home was an absolute dream!

I knew from the moment I met Arelia that she was going to have an epic wedding design… a girl after my own heart, she is a fellow color-lover and wanted to incorporate *all* the bright, fun colors in to her day! Can you imagine my delight when I saw her Pinterest board?

I was lucky enough to get to work with Arelia and Austin for a good long while, because they were blessed with a baby girl in the middle of the planning process which meant bumping the wedding out to June of 2023 when it was originally planned for September of 2022. Their daughter Sienna is the absolute sweetest thing, and made the wedding day all that much more special!

Arelia’s Disney Fairytale Weddings dress by Allure Bridals from Blush Bridal here in Eugene was beyond stunning!

Still drooling over the magic that Branch & Bramble Floral created…like are you kidding me!? I will never stop obsessing over the incredible flowers from this day!! From the bridesmaid bouquets to the ceremony meadow to the signage installations to the centerpieces… it was absolute perfection in the form of flowers.

To fit with the theme, A&A asked their guests to dress in colorful attire as well — I absolutely loved this!!

We love a good petal toss! Guests were given a cone filled with flower petals as they arrived to the ceremony, and as the couple came down the aisle, everyone tossed their petals in to the air. So fun!

Another one of my favorite details was all of the custom signage from Life in Letters, tying into the bright color palette and adorned with coordinating florals. I am definitely a pro-sign gal (the more communication – the better!), so having signs for *everything* made my heart so happy– especially when each one was crafted with love and care.

Speaking of love and care… that’s what Gretchen with the Sassy Cupcake pours into all of her desserts and her incredible tablescapes. This dessert table was an explosion of cupcakes and flowers and a delight to my eyeballs and my stomach! The cutting cake she created, while it may be small — could not have been more stunning, with each dried floral meticulously placed and adorned with fresh floral to finish the look.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I LOVE mixing rounds and farm tables. This will always be my top choice if it’s an option — it breaks up the space and looks (and feels) soo much better than all rounds or all farm tables for a larger wedding like this. I also love getting to provide so many of the rentals for my client’s weddings! Arelia and Austin rented our farm tables and vineyard chairs, lounge furniture, vintage tea cart, candle holders, and more.

In addition to the custom signage and invitation suite that McKenna with Life in Letters created, she also crafted these custom place cards and timeline/thank you from the couple in various colors for each place setting, including the illustration of the estate where the wedding took place which was also on the invites.

I love a good outfit change — Arelia’s reception dress from Anthropologie was so fun!

I love incorporating unique details that you might not see at every wedding — like a white bounce house! This was such a blast for the kiddos and as you can see Arelia had some fun with it as well! How cute is she!?

A sparkler exit to end the festivities and a classic car getaway — we love to see it! Especially when it’s not *really* the end, and the dance party continues late into the night! If you want the photos, you can always do a “faux” exit with your photographer/videographer and get right back to dancing afterwards. ;)

Here is what Arelia had to say about her experience working with Event Crush:

“Becky was our God send! She and her team at Event Crush were incredibly supportive throughout our planning and rescheduling & last minute changes. Becky came up with AMAZING ideas and never said no to anything! She made our wedding truly a dream come true!! She was so professional, calming, organized, EXPERIENCED & just everything you want for your big day. Even the tiniest details, nothing was missed. We hired Sugar Crush for our rehearsal dinner and it was a HIT with the kids, being able to rent important furniture, decorations & props directly from her was such a plus. Her team went above and beyond to give us the most memorable day. Becky was able to connect us with vendors and help us make our wedding represent us! We couldn’t be more grateful to have gotten to work with her!! It shows in her work how much she cares for her brides and grooms! We have so much love for Becky and everyone who made our day possible!”

Words can never express how grateful I am to work with couples like Arelia and Austin. Thank you so much for trusting me, Arelia!! So much love to you guys. <3
