It is an exciting time for my business. There are all sorts of fun things going on and I am getting so excited for 2014. I thought I would just pop in for a brief update of some new things I’m working on. :)
I am now offering a “jump start” wedding package to get couples off on the right start with their planning. The package includes an initial meeting with me to discuss your ideas and vision, a comprehensive wedding budget, all the planning checklists, worksheets, and timelines you need, and recommendations for quality local vendors. This package is a flat $100 and if you decide to book me for planning or coordination later on, the $100 goes towards your package fee. I am also working on putting together a planning binder that will be given to future brides!
I recently started a Facebook group called Willamette Valley Wedding Resale, which is a buy/sell/trade group for wedding related items in the Willamette Valley area. I love the idea of connecting couples with the perfect (and affordable) items for their wedding as well as helping recently married couples to get their leftover items off their hands and make some cash.
You can check it out at https://www.facebook.com/groups/willamettevalleyweddingresale
I am also working with a wonderful local wedding floral designer to put together a networking event for local wedding professionals in the Eugene/Springfield area. The details are still in the works but I am so excited about this!! There isn’t anything like it in the area and it will be such a fantastic opportunity for local wedding professionals to connect and build relationships on a regular basis. More details to come…. :)
My fabulous photographer friend Jamie Zanotti took new head shots for me last month. She did an amazing job and I’m super happy to have pictures of my post-baby self that I actually really like. Thank you SO much, Jamie!! Here are a couple faves:
If you are looking for an incredible wedding photographer to capture your day I simply cannot recommend her enough! Having been in front of her camera a few times (she shot our maternity photos and a bridal shower I styled and hosted), I can tell you she makes you feel SO comfortable and is just a pure joy to be around. Check out her website at www.jamiezanotti.com.
I think that is all of the news I have for now… I DO intend to start blogging more (I know I always say that!) but I really do hope to carve time out each week to do at least one or two posts. So stay tuned. I’m planning on showcasing local vendors as well as sharing all sorts of inspiration, decor ideas, color palettes, DIY ideas, and more.
