Not many couples decide to get married in the winter here in Oregon, but I’m so glad Missy and Nelson did! Their January wedding at Grace Community Fellowship in Eugene was beautiful, filled with a simple elegance and touches of purple and grey. Missy and I actually worked together several years ago at Skate World, and it was so fun getting to see her again and help her out with her special day. Her and Nelson are so sweet and one of the cutest couples that ever lived, I’m pretty sure.
The very talented Jay Eads captured Missy and Nelson’s day perfectly, and I had such a pleasure working with him. If you’re looking for out of this world wedding photos, you can’t go wrong with Jay Eads. He has such an artistic eye and I love the uniqueness of his photos.
After the ceremony, guests headed out to the foyer to enjoy a delicious meal, cake, desserts, dancing, and a candy bar. I’m pretty sure no one left hungry!
Sweet Life Patisserie provided the beautiful cake.
Brrr!! It was a little chilly as Missy and Nelson left their reception, but that didn’t stop Missy from looking amazing in her stunning getaway dress. Their wedding was definitely one of the most beautiful winter weddings I’ve been to and I was honored to be a part of it. Thank you so much, Missy and Nelson! I hope that you are truly enjoying this time as newlyweds. :)
These fine folks helped make their day what it was…
