I can’t tell you how exciting it is to open an email that contains photos from one of my weddings. Looking through the photos is like living through the day all over again and remembering all of those sweet moments and special details. I’m so thankful to all of the fabulous photographers I get to work with who share these gorgeous images with me and help me to show couples what I do.
With that said, here is one of the wonderful weddings I had the pleasure of planning and coordinating this past summer. Annalise & Caleb were one of the sweetest couples ever and they were such a joy to work with! They brought me on board early on in the planning process for full-service planning, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish.
When Annalise was describing her vision to me, I immediately recommended Jasper House Farm in Pleasant Hill because I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for her outdoorsy, laid back, boho chic/rustic wedding. When she explained her vision she talked about lots of lavender, lace, a naked cake with berries, and an outdoor dinner party feel. Read on for more details about how everything came together, and enjoy the stunning photos by Leah Banick Photography!
Annalise & her bridesmaids were the epitome of mismatched perfection. If you’ve wondered about doing mismatched dresses but were unsure about how it would turn out, this is an excellent example of how great they can all look together. The girls wore shades of blush, ivory, and white to accompany the bride’s gorgeous soft blush BHLDN dress. Some of the girls wore lace and some chiffon, and they also had braids in their hair and matching florals to really pull the look together.
Jasper House Farm is a working filbert farm, so there are plenty of beautiful orchards around which make for great photos ops. Fun fact: Annalise & Caleb incorporated this element in to their wedding by sending guests home with personalized filbert favors from the farm.
The lovely florals were provided by Good Seed Floral Design, my go-to gals for all things flowers here in Oregon. 1/2 of Good Seed recently relocated to Austin, TX, so Texas is enjoying their floral beauty as well now (lucky!).
The guys wore grey pants with white shirts, suspenders & a bow tie, keeping it simple and classy and perfectly accenting the girls’ chic and feminine look.
Annalise’s flawless hair and makeup were done by Makeup by Reina, and her braid + flower crown completed her boho chic look perfectly.
I loved the gorgeous arbor piece that Good Seed provided for the ceremony, which they foraged primarily from a friend’s backyard. The colors that Annalise chose for her wedding were so pretty and accented the greens and browns found throughout the property so well.
How sweet is it that Annalise had both of her parents walk her down the aisle!? I mean, why not? I love this idea and I love it when couples make their wedding their own and do things they want to do rather than just doing what’s expected or what’s traditional.
For the reception, the couple wanted an outdoor dinner party feel so we did long farm tables (provided by the venue) with lavender table runners, ivory napkins, and clusters of blooms going down the tables. Jasper House also has bistro lights strung up all through the surrounding trees which gave it the perfect evening glow.
How cute are these cards that Annalise’s cousin designed (along with their invitations)!? These would be so fun to look back on over the years!
Can we please talk about this naked cake… Noisette Pastry Kitchen did such an amazing job with this. It was exactly as Annalise had described it, and I knew from my initial talk with Annalise that Noisette would be just what they were looking for. Oh and it tasted as good as it looked, too!
Annalise & Caleb wanted something fun & different for their reception exit. Because their wedding took place in the afternoon and early evening (it was on a Sunday, and many guests were driving back to Bend that day), they didn’t want to go super late, which meant no sparklers because it wouldn’t be dark yet. Ribbon wands ended up being the perfect alternative, and the photos turned out absolutely adorable!
Seriously, how cute are these two!? Thank you Annalise & Caleb for allowing me to help you plan and be a part of such an amazing day. I am so thankful that I get to work with such great people!
Annalise left me the sweetest review, which you can read below:
“Becky did an incredible job and was an excellent wedding planner! I’m so glad that I found her. I don’t know how I would’ve planned a wedding by myself since I was in the process of moving, graduating college, and finding work. She really helped keep us on track with our planning, and was very encouraging and knowledgeable of all things wedding related! She really took time to understand our vision for our wedding day, which I really appreciated, and was also very good at suggesting creative ideas if I was clueless in a certain area. Not only did she do a great job helping us plan and stay organized, but she also helped keep everything on track on our big day. Thanks to her I was fully able to enjoy our entire wedding day by relaxing and soaking up every moment. There was not one second that I was worried about the details, because I knew she had it all in control. She did an amazing job and I would recommend her to anyone getting married anytime soon! She has different packages, so contact her and check them out. I am a firm believer that every bride should have at least a day of coordinator so they aren’t stressing themselves and their family out on their wedding day, and Becky is PERFECT for that and can also do so much more.”
Thanks to these amazing wedding pros for all of your hard work:
