As 2015 was coming to a close, I had the pleasure of working on a super fun styled wedding shoot with Dawn of Dawn Photography and many other fabulous wedding professionals. While we were thrown a few curve balls throughout the process (more on that below), we were still able to pull off something beautiful and I love the gorgeous images that Dawn captured. Dawn came up with the idea to do a rose gold inspired shoot that also incorporated blush ombre details, and you can see how it all came together in the photos below. This shoot was also featured on Trendy Bride, check it out here!
KT Michelle Designs provided the handmade ombre paper goods which paired perfectly with the gorgeous sequin rose gold linens from Candy Crush Shop. And that ring? Definitely one of the highlights of the shoot! It’s a stunning Trumpet & Horn vintage-inspired 18k rose gold ring that is even more breathtaking in person.
Our beautiful model for the shoot, Amanda, is also a talented photographer herself! She brought her husband and adorable son along for the shoot as well, who made the cutest ring bearer you’ve ever seen.
The bouquet was absolutely one-of-a-kind, as it was ombre with whites/ivories on one side blending in to blushes and pinks on the other side, with a winter/woodsy vibe to it, just perfect for our December shoot! Barb’s Flowers provided the gorgeous arrangements for us, including a centerpiece and floral garland for the fireplace.
Our backdrop for the shoot was the gorgeous Grand Hollows wedding venue out in Veneta. Unfortunately, plans for the venue to officially open are on hold but my fingers are crossed that this stunning space will eventually be able to open its doors to couples as the owners have put so much time, money, and heart in to making this place incredible.
The weather was crazy the day of the shoot, pouring rain and windy, so we were pretty limited to where we could actually shoot, but we made it work anyway! Thank goodness Amanda had her beautiful fur coat with her because it was COLD!
See, cutest ring bearer ever!? And the matching daddy & son sequin bow ties are almost just too much.
It was such a pleasure working with everyone involved in this shoot and it’s always such a blast seeing everything come together. See below for a full list of all of the vendors who helped make this happen. Now that baby girl is here, I have another styled shoot in the works that I am so incredibly excited about!
