Diana and John tied the knot on July 27th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eugene followed by a reception at the Downtown Athletic Club.
D & J are such a sweet couple and just made my job a breeze. Their wedding was beyond beautiful and I was so impressed with all of the fabulous handmade details they each crafted for the wedding. The groom made all of the wooden box centerpieces for the flowers, as well as their arrow sign outside the reception, and a beautiful wooden “Love” sign. Such talent! Diana crafted the cake topper (just wait until you see it), the welcome bags/escort cards, the welcome sign, the menus, the place cards… oh did I mention the invitations!? A talented pair those two are.
A great team of vendors helped make their wedding what it was, including beautiful florals by Chase Flowers and Gifts, delicious cake by Lizzy’s House of Cakes, DJ services provided by Destination Events, and Jennifer Costello Photography captured the beautiful images!
Diana rocked three wedding gowns — a traditional Chinese wedding dress, the gorgeous dress pictured above for the ceremony, and another beyond beautiful dress for the reception. She looked stunning in them all!
After the ceremony, guests were given balloons and waited outside for the newlyweds. Everyone released their balloons at the same time. Of course D & J had adorable heart shaped balloons. It was so cool to see all of the balloons flying in the air!
Can you believe the bride created these invitations herself!? They are nothing short of what you would spend a fortune on online. You would think she is a design major or something!
Guests were greeted to the reception with this adorable “hello” sign created by Diana.
Diana also put together these lovely welcome bags/escort cards for each guest.
One of my favorite details… the sweet cake topper Diana created. Sitting atop one of the tastiest cakes I have ever tried!! The groom also made the wooden cake stand. Didn’t I say these two were talented!?
I love in the moment photos like this. There’s no question how in love these two are!
What a wonderful wedding, I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it. Thank you Diana and John for allowing me the opportunity to coordinate your wedding! I also have to give a shout out to my intern Taylor who was a HUGE help at this wedding! :)
